To celebrate the launch of his new publication, UR…. A Practical Guide to Unconscious Reasoning, artist Marcus Coates hosted a discussion with Gavin Everall, Editor at Book Works.

Using a series of exercises and increasingly in depth ‘trips’, UR…. A Practical Guide to Unconscious Reasoning sets out clear and concise steps to enable individuals and groups to access their imagination, using it to work for themselves and on behalf of others.

Audience members of this free event were invited to join Coates and Everall as they discussed the exercises included in the book such as ‘Becoming a Bat’, ‘Crawling’, ‘Draw a Sound’ and ‘Impersonating a Human’, which were developed as practical techniques to solve problems that we might otherwise remain dumbfounded by.
