Wednesday 6th August – Saturday 30th August 2025
For the month of August, we welcome Zhuzh the Yog – a collective of queer Traveller+ artists drawn together from around the UK – to create a new exhibition-within-an-exhibition within Stranger in Silver Walking on Air. This intimate presentation gathers new and existing works to explore the intersections of queerness, Traveller heritages, survival and joy. Through sculptural pieces, photography, painting, illustration, and tarot cards, Zhuzh the Yog’s artwork expands the immersive world of Le Bas’ installation with personal gestures, radical kinship and shared heritage.
Drop in during gallery hours (Wednesday to Saturday, 11am-5pm) or check our Eventbrite for special events.
ABOUT
Zhuzh the Yog formed through a residency and showcase at Queer Britain in 2024. Working across a broad spectrum of artworks, the artists centre lived experience as a rich well of inspiration. Their works are diverse in form, tone, and message – but all challenge rigid narratives of identity to celebrate intersectionality, humour and hope. This intervention marks the first time the collective has exhibited together in East London.
