Alongside the artist residencies at The White House, the house hosts the Front Room Programme, this includes coffee mornings, cookery classes, arts & craft groups, poetry group, painting classes, talks & film screenings, facilitated by local people.
The Front Room Programme has been designed so far with people that come to the house, and we are open to all your suggestions. Most activity is free, some sessions take donations for materials and facilitators.
The White House is open on Wednesdays, 12pm-5pm and Fridays, 10am-5pm, when you can drop in for a cup of tea or coffee and find out more about the house. The White House is also open at additional times for events and workshops, which you can read about on The White House’s website.
