We are is seeking to appoint a new Director to lead Create’s vision and strategic direction, bringing commissioning expertise, as well as establishing and maintaining partnerships and funding relationships. The Director will be the spokesperson for the organisation, representing Create and its projects with stakeholders, within the sector, the wider public and the media. The new Director will work alongside the Executive Director as joint CEO and is accountable to the Board of Trustees.

The Director will play a key role in the business planning and forthcoming application to Arts Council England’s National Portfolio, including the implementation of ACE’s new ‘Let’s Create’ ten-year strategy and investment principles. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and creative individual, with the experience to lead an organisation of this scale and calibre, maintaining its current reputation and key role in the visual arts sector.
