Transglobal Underground is a London-based collective that specialises in a fusion of Western, oriental and African music. When they first emerged in the early ’90s, they shook up the world of dance music and baffled fans with their blend of sitars, hip-hop and avant-garde sounds, and they still mix up as many other kinds of world music as they can get their hands on.
