Tom Waits’ legendary 1985 album Rain Dogs is widely considered not just one of the experimental singer-songwriter’s finest, but one of the most enduring records of all time, according to Rolling Stone. A loose concept album about life in New York, it touches on cabaret, polka, blues, jazz, rock, New Orleans brass and spoken word. Rain Dogs Revisited is an homage directed by David Coulter, the multi-instrumentalist who also worked on Waits’ 1993 collaboration with William Burroughs, The Black Rider. Featuring Arthur H, the Tiger Lillies, Camille O’Sullivan, Stef Kamil Carlens (Zita Swoon), Annie Clark (St. Vincent), Erika Stucky and more.
