The east end of London, where over 12,000 artists live and work, is Europe’s largest cultural quarter. This panel examines the past and future of the arts in this rapidly changing area. Speakers include Iwona Blazwick (director, Whitechapel Gallery), Turner Prize winner Rachel Whiteread, Gregor Muir (director, Hauser &amp; Wirth Gallery) and Kate MacGarry (Kate MacGarry Gallery). Co-ordinated by Julia Royse, curator of POSTED, director of RS&amp;A Ltd and cocurator of the White Cube Gallery from 1993-99.
