During my degree, I explored the power of light and colour theories as a medium to create transcendental experiences that provoke a deeper understanding of the human condition. I was always interested in making artworks that examines the everyday but at the same time, were immersive and had a sense of participant/community engagement. The experience of moving back to London have been really pivotal towards my practise, witnessing society changes such a gentrification in my areas and understanding how policies affect and often oppress certain demographics has lead to my interest in cultural studies, which I wish to explore more in my practise.

I am excited to be a part of Interchange, which will give young people like myself a platform to continue to work together as a collective and for it to be a springboard for other creative pursuits.
